Looking To Move - Part 2

So I've been on the flat-share hunt as of late and am wondering if people actually are looking for flatmates or prisoners... Seen on many postings for flatmates or flat rentals - "No Cooking Allowed." Oh and best yet, there was one that advertised - "Cooking allowed but instant noodles only!" Then there's the "No friends allowed" policy. So basically not only can you not cook but you are expected to have just about zilch social life or any sort of friends. If the person was a hermit, they'd be living in a cave, not a flat. Can landlords be a little more realistic?

Shallow Grave

"I'm not ashamed. I've known love. I've known rejection. I'm not afraid to declare my feelings. Take trust, for instance, or friendship: these are the important things in life, these are the things that matter, that help you on your way. If you can't trust your friends, well, what then? What then? This could have been any city: they're all the same."

This is one of my favourite films of all time and it brings back a lot of memories for me. I watched it when it came out more than 10 years ago in a Sony Theatre in NYC. It was also the first time I heard of director Danny Boyle and the group, Leftfield, who had a great opening track to the film. Since then I've been a great fan of both.

If you reckon you can understand Scottish accents... then you'll most likely be able to enjoy this film, which explores the themes of friendship, trust, greed and subtleties of male-female interactions. Not much gore at all but the suspense is enough to get you squirming in your seat. The edit style was also what caught my eye and made this film an all-time favourite - fresh and modern, slick and stylish... would be how I describe it.

The DVD of course is available at Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de

UPDATE:

Ok... the fix is in System Overview > Authors in the Admin Panel. Interestingly, the Author Display Name went blank after the upgrade.

Upgraded from 3.2 To 3.35

After a few days of ding-donging around with the upgrading process, I finally got it to work. For some reason my scripts weren't running despite setting the right permissions (or so I thought). Turns out maybe my ftp software was buggy. Manually set the permissions for each script individually and then the upgrading worked. In the next week or so, will have to work on upgrading the photos and videos site.

"Maybe Tomorrow" by Stereophonics

I'm wondering why
These little black clouds
Keep walking around
With me
With me

It wastes time
And I'd rather be high
Think I'll walk me outside
And buy a rainbow smile
But be free
They're all free

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

I look around at a beautiful life
Been the upperside of down
Been the inside of out
But we breathe
We breathe

I wanna breeze and an open mind
I wanna swim in the ocean
Wanna take my time for me
All me

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home"

This song popped up on my LastFM player this morning while I was doing some work on my computer. The intro, caught my attention and I kinda like the husky voice of the singer so I proceeded to look up the group to see if I can find a video and voila... it's a 60s style music video (and funny enough the lead singer has side burns!)
