Pan's Labyrinth

Pan's Labyrinth Went to watch Pan's Labyrinth two weekends ago with some friends. The cinema was packed. I've seen the trailers online but didn't quite know what to expect with the storyline. There were obviously some parts that were cut though I don't think it was much but you can tell from the way the film score in the background wasn't quite continuous. As the movie went on, it got darker and darker and more bloody so if you're into happy movies, don't watch this. Overall, it was a movie that really made you think... wondering what the whole purpose of the lead character (the little girl) was. The ending was kinda disappointing. Interesting how it slowly weaved the unsuspecting audience to an ending that was somewhat religious. The symbolism slowly crept in as the movie went along and then all is revealed at the end.

If you've missed this movie... fear not... the DVD is now available at Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de
