Chicken Briyani At Sri Kamala Villas
Last night I went out to Little India to do some photography and stopped by a new found place for some food. This very local place, Sri Kamala Villas, is really great. It's near the PosBank ATM machine at Tekka.
It's as local as you can get with people from all walks of life coming into the place to do the one thing that everyone does... eat! From families to couples to single working people, everyone tucks in at this somewhat retro looking eatery with its pink walls and crazy yellow flowers on the partially tiled parts of the walls. Trust me, after you've had a mouthful of the food here, you'll be on such a high you'll be seeing more yellow flowers wafting around!
I've had a delicious paper thosai here before but for last night's dinner I opted for a hearty chicken briyani instead. A bit greasy but nothing like lining your stomach before a drink.
The dish, together with two glasses of teh tarik came up to about SGD6.90 (about USD4.48).
