Dial A Coke
Whilst I was mooching around one afternoon last month... just wondering around the historic Telok Ayer Street area, taking photos... I went into the Thian Hock Keng Temple to see if I could get any interesting shots. Not much that day because it got overcast and a big group of tourists were mooching around as well but I noticed that there is now a drinks vending machine standing in one corner of the temple. How very enterprising! LOL.
As I'd been walking around for a long time that afternoon, I was quite thirsty so I went up to the machine to see if I could get myself a can of drink and lo-and-behold... one of the options available is "Dial a Coke."
Basically send a SMS/text message to a specified number and the drink will pop out of the machine. I gave it a try and it worked! I was impressed. Didn't even have to resort to shaking the machine and risk it falling on me. ;-)
