Dim Sum At Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant

Thanks to a friend of mine, I was introduced to some delicious dim sum last Wednesday over at Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant in Carlton Hotel. We had the century egg porridge (pei tan choke) and this absolutely delicious steamed carrot cake. I've never had it before so it was interesting trying it. Unlike the fried version, the steamed version reminded me of bean curd (tao foo fa). It was very tasty and also filling! Other items we ordered were the usual steamed prawn and chive dumplings. Dessert was some char siew pastry puff (char siew so) and egg tarts, which you can see below.
