Easy Pasta Salad

Pasta Salad This was my dinner last Wednesday and is a very easy dish to prepare. The ingredient amounts would depend on how many people you want to serve or how much you want to eat! Haha...

Some pasta, preferably fusilli
About 2 teaspoons grain mustard
1 onion, sliced
Some lettuce
1 big apple (I used a Fuji apple), peeled, cored and quartered
Some baby tomatoes, halved or quartered
1 orange, peeled and quartered
Some olive oil for frying
Some Italian dressing

  1. Cook the pasta, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat frying pan, put oil in. When hot, put in the onions and fry until slightly soft. Then stir in grain mustard.
  3. Next put in the pasta and stir to ensure that onions and grain mustard are mixed through. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  4. Put your prepped vegetable and fruits in a salad bowl. Then add in the pasta and stir.
  5. Next, pour in the Italian dressing - amount is up to you.
  6. Stir again and serve.

* If you want your meal to be more substantial then use more pasta, if you want it more healthy then add more fruits and vegetables.
