Chicken with Mustard and Spring Onion Sauce

Chicken with Mustard and Spring Onion Sauce I cooked this for dinner last night and had it with some rice. It was yummy! *drool*

2 chicken breast fillets, cut into smaller pieces
Some Dijon mustard to coat chicken
About 2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 sprig spring onion, chopped
1 tablespoon plain flour
Some water
Some dried thyme
1 garlic clove, crushed

  1. Put the chicken in a dish and put enough mustard in to coat all the pieces.
  2. Heat frying pan, put oil in. When hot, put in the garlic and fry for awhile.
  3. Next put in the chicken pieces and fry until golden brown. Then remove from heat and put aside.
  4. Put in the spring onions and fry for about a minute. Then put in the flour and stir.
  5. Next, pour in some of the water... just enough to make a sauce. Add in the thyme. Stir until the sauce is thick.
  6. Put the chicken back in and cook in the sauce until tender or properly cooked.

* If you don't eat chicken, you can replace it with salmon. Works too.
